The latest version of DVDFab Media Player for Mac has been able to convert the videos being watched into compatible formats for playback on Apple devices, like all the iPhone/iPad models, select iPod and Apple TV models. To some extent, this great Mac media player turns into a video converter tool, if you have the Pro version of course, helping you convert what you are watching to watch again at a later point on other Apple devices, instead of your Macintosh.

 

Then how do we utilize the video conversion feature from inside the DVDFab Media Player? Read on to learn the ABCs and you will be surprised to see how easy that process could be.

 

Things to Prepare:

 

Download and install DVDFab Media Player for Mac the latest version, and DVDFab Video Converter Lite for Mac (a free Plug-in) on your Macintosh.

 

Get Things Started:

 

Convert the Video Being Watched with DVDFab Media Player – Step 1: start DVDFab Media Player to play any video you have, DVD/Blu-ray ISO images or any other video in any format;

 

Convert the Video Being Watched with DVDFab Media Player – Step 2: click the Convert button, the last but two in the Playback Control Dock, to call up the Video Converter Lite;

 

 

Convert the Video Being Watched with DVDFab Media Player – Step 3: you have two options here to convert the entire video, or just start the conversion from the current playback point;

 

 

Convert the Video Being Watched with DVDFab Media Player – Step 4: click the Profile Switcher at middle right side to select the correct Apple device you want to watch the converted videos on, and then select a video quality from the available list of Low, Normal and High. Trigger the start button and job done here.

 

 

 

As a sidenote: it will select the default audio track and subtitle stream from the video being played to convert, which means, you need to preselect them within Media Player if you want specified audio track and subtitle stream.
